ABOUT ME
"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
"Dead Poets Society" (1989)
Film as an Expression of Poetry, Love and Beauty: Films often weave poetry, love, and beauty together, creating a narrative that engages both the heart and mind. These elements enhance the viewer’s emotional journey, making the film an immersive experience that goes beyond entertainment.

A Dreamer Who Found Her Way
As a child, life came with its share of challenges, but some of my warmest memories are of sitting with my mother, watching old Chinese martial arts and kung fu films. I loved the rhythm of the fight scenes, the wise masters with flowing beards, and the quiet lessons offered after each battle. I like to think my love for reading began there too—carefully following every subtitle, not wanting to miss a word.
As I grew older, life narrowed into routine—work, sleep, repeat. Somewhere along the way, the dreamer in me grew quiet. The wisdom and imagination that once inspired me faded beneath the weight of responsibility and expectation. But years later, I found myself returning to those films, and with them came a familiar sense of peace. They reminded me that possibility never truly disappears—it simply waits.
Not long ago, I chose to honor that reminder. I got my passport, traveled to China, and stepped into a chapter that taught me deeply about courage, love, and myself. While that chapter did not unfold as I once imagined, it reaffirmed something important: it is never too late to choose growth, clarity, and authenticity.
Today, I am focused on living in alignment with my passions, protecting my peace, and cherishing my family. I am no longer bound by past expectations or lost time. I move forward with intention, wisdom, and self-respect. Like the stories that once shaped me, my journey continues—guided not by fear, but by meaning, resilience, and quiet strength.
